Alexander Wang bought classic nineties grunge back to the catwalk with his Ready-To-Wear Autumn/Winter 2010-2011 collection at New York Fashion Week, February 2010. The atmosphere was moody, the concrete floor slicked with water, while the tough, nineties grunge looking models made a furious comeback. Alexander Wang showed girls with kohl-rimmed eyes, morning-after-the-night-before hair and a fierce attitude. Gritty never looked so pretty.
